Valentine’s Day would be my favorite holiday if it weren’t in February. Living in New England makes it tough to celebrate any holiday that occurs when we’re buried under more than 5 feet of snow, lol.
But I love hearts. I collect hearts. I love anything with hearts on it or anything heart-shaped.
I bring out all this paraphernalia around Valentine’s Day, but I also use many of them during the rest of the year too. I don’t know how this heart-love started, but I’ve felt this way as long as I can remember.
What do you think of my collection so far? And this is just some of it! I have a ton more…
including this donut I had to eat on Friday ‘coz it’s, you know, Valentine’s month!
So, as you can see, I really get into Valentine’s Day. And I celebrate it all month!
One of my favorite beauty products with hearts is something I picked up at Christmas: LUSH Santa’s Lip Scrub.
I just adore this little lip exfoliator and balm that tastes like cherry cola and makes my lips so smooth. But it’s the little red hearts that really get me!
And LUSH has fabulous limited edition products just for Valentine’s Day. They have an adorable red Valentine’s Day The Kiss Lip Scrub with sprinkles on top. And they have new incredible bath bombs that they are known for.
Although they have a couple of heart-shaped bath bombs, like the Love Locket Bath Bomb,
I received two other shapes to take me beyond my heart-shaped comfort zone. LUSH was generous to send me and the other gals in The Beauty Council bath bombs to try out. So click on the posts at the end of my post and hop on over to see what the other girls had to say about how LUSH helps them celebrate Valentine’s Day!
Although I’ve used other LUSH products, I hadn’t tried the bath bombs. After all the snow shoveling I’ve been doing, I really needed to soak in the tub. I decided to go for the Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar. It was just so dang adorable! And yes, #theydoexist! Unicorns, that is 😉
I wish you could smell the Unicorn Horn. It is beyond incredible! The scents are lavender, ylang yang and neroli, and combined, they are ah-ma-zing! Such a relaxing scent. As the Unicorn Horn dissolved and bubbled, the water turned purple and the horn released the little stars, hearts and rainbows that were hiding inside. So cute! And it released fabulous essential oils. My skin felt sooooooo smooth, and the gorgeous scent remained on my skin like fragrance. And the bubbles, OMG, they lasted forever, waaaaaay longer than any bubble bath I’ve ever used. I must have spent an hour in the tub, and I never do that. Here’s what it looked like.
I am saving the Floating Flower Bath Bomb for Valentine’s Day so I can take a pampering bath and be nice and relaxed and super-soft before we go out to dinner to celebrate.
The Floating Flower which also smells fabulous contains jasmine absolute and cypress oil. This beauty floats on the water and slowly dissolves creating pink, orange and green colors in the water. I’m so psyched for that!
I am so happy that I had a chance to try LUSH’s wonderful bath bombs. How did I live without them? I’m planning a trip to the mall to pick up a heart-shaped bomb (I MUST have one!), the red heart-shaped Cupid’s Love Soap, and a couple of little gifts.
In case you don’t already know, LUSH products are fresh and handmade in the U.S. And they are cruelty-free. Don’t you just love these bags?
The Unicorn Horn is vegan and priced at $7.95. The Floating Flower is also vegan and priced at $6.95. They are available at your local LUSH store or on the LUSH website. What’s your favorite LUSH product??

I am, Jessica, and those are only a few of the items I own, lol. And yes, after using the Unicorn Horn, I agree, a LUSH bath is a must!!
Omgosh, how CUTE! I love your collection of heart-shaped things :)) LUSH also has a heart-shaped soap in their V-day collection, and a heart-shaped massage bar that smells amazing.
I have to get the heart-shaped soap and maybe one of the heart-shaped bombs to add to my collection!
I absolutely love your collection of hearts, Allison! Your heart-shaped lipstick (what was that, by the way?) and tea pot are just fabulous! My birthday is the day before Valentine’s Day, so I, too, seem to have an affinity for hearts (though my collection isn’t as wonderful as yours. Lush makes such wonderful products, and those Bath Bombs look good enough to eat. Of course, I think that I would much prefer the taste of that darling donut! You have a magical way of making me want everything that you feature!

Thank you, Lola! The lipstick is from Holika Holika and here’s the link: http://www.amazon.com/Holika-Heartful-Moisture-Stick-RD807/dp/B00A477OT4/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1423155804&sr=1-1&keywords=heart+shaped+lipstick I think it’s the cutest! And as always, thank you so much for the compliments. I wish the yummy donut didn’t look so squished but I had to photo it anyway!
I don’t have a bathtub in my master bathroom anymore but my son uses the Robots whenever I go by a LUSH store. I do like their face scrubs but I always buy too many and don’t use them in time.

I guess that’s the downside to being ‘fresh’ and ‘handmade’ is that it’s necessary to use them quickly. I’m like you, I buy too much, save things and they go bad,lol
Hearts galore! I wanted to try Love Locket, too, and a slip crub.
I’ve gotta go to LUSH and pick up a heart-shaped bomb and soap!!
The floating flower was my favorite, but I would have loved it if it had the Unicorn Horn scent.

I have to go out and shovel again today, so I may take another bath with just a portion, this time, of the floating flower. I’m eager to see the colors!!
I love all of your heart items. That tea pot made me squeal because it’s so darn cute. The lip scrub looks yummy!
Isn’t that teapot the cutest?! And yes, the lip scrub tastes delicious, really does taste like cherry cola!
What a fun post! I love all the heart items that you’ve selected <3
Monica.
And that’s just a few of my heart things, Monica! I figured everyone would go to sleep if I showed them all <3
Thank you for the lipstick link, my friend! I didn’t see squished, only yummy when I looked at the donut! No need to thank me– you are one of my very favorite bloggers, and your posts always bring me joy!

Gladly! And I think our blogging approach/sensibility is quite similar. Plus we both love fragrance <3
That heart tea pot is adorable! I love Lush 🙂
Thank you! I think it is too!
Love this post, but I gotta say… That donut looks SO GOOD. I’m ready to run out to Dunkin Donuts to get me some donuts! LOL!

Thanks, Ashley! I think it’s super cute <3
SO FUN!! I need to go to LUSH and get some of those products! Especially the lip scrub! 🙂 Great V-day post 🙂 Also, what’s the heartshaped lipstick?
I love my Santa’s Lip Scrub from LUSH, and the Vday The Kiss Lip Scrub looks even cuter!
That Lush lip scrub is SO cute with those little hearts! <3 I keep telling myself I NEED to go to a LUSH store, I love taking baths but have never tried one of their bath bombs. (PS What is that heat shaped lipstick you have a picture of above?)

The heart-shaped lipstick is from Holika Holika, and I posted the link to it in my reply to Lola below. It’s so cute, isn’t it?! I was shocked at how wonderful the LUSH bath bombs are. This was my first experience with them. Just fabulous!
I love your little heart tea pot!!! I love decorating the house for Valentine’s Day so I’m right there with you! Even though hubby and I don’t do much ( never been big into it ) we do fun stuff for the kids! I love how the scrub has little hearts in it!!!

That’s right! I love me some hearts! I just spent 2 hours shoveling snow, so I may try breaking off part of the Floating Flower in the tub tonight 🙂
OMG Cherry Cola lip scrub sounds amazing!
It is yummy!
Such a great idea to pamper ourselves 😀
Always!
I used to collect teapots–what a cute heart one!
I have a mini-collection of teapots, Cindy, about 6, I think. They take up a fair amount of room so I haven’t gotten into it big time. But I just had to have the heart-shaped one when I saw it years ago at Crabtree & Evelyn.
Donuts always taste better when they’re heart shaped lol. Love the Unicorn Horn!

I like that title, Queen of Hearts! Thanks, Kathryne. And now I want another heart-shaped donut!
I wish I could have gotten that cherry cola-flavored lip scrub! Sounds delish. Maybe next time!

I’m not sure what the taste is on the Valentine LE lip scrub called The Kiss. It may be cherry cola or it may be bubblegum, not sure, but the website will probably say. I am pretty sure that the cherry cola-flavored Santa’s Lip Scrub will be back next Christmas because it’s been a big success 🙂
I absolutely love all of your heart goodies. 🙂 LUSH makes such fun things for us ladies.
Thanks, Honey! LUSH and their products are quite unique. Love ’em!
The lipstick!!!!!! It’s soooooooooooooooo cute!!!! I love hearts too.
Isn’t that heart-shaped lipstick from Holika Holika the cutests?! A must-have for heart lovers <3
LUSH is hands down the best. And I love hearts, sparkles and all things red. Just sign me up for all of it.

I’ve been a fan of LUSH for many years (going on 7 I think?) and I love the Valentine’s offerings they had this year. That Unicorn Horn is freaking adorable!
It really is cute, and it smelled so good. Plus the bubbles, wow
Love all your heart things- & I want one of those donuts! Telling the husband now.

I love DD’s heart-shaped donuts, especially the pink ones! Hope you enjoyed yours
Nice heart collection! Lush has some really cute stuff too. I can’t believe that I’ve never even been in one of their stores- how sad is that? I’d totally buy the love locket bath bomb. We have a big claw-foot tub but I can’t remember the last time I took a bubble bath. I shouldn’t get my hopes up though, at least not until I’ve made sure the cat hasn’t stolen the plug for the drain. Again. Bad kitty… 😛
Thanks, Rach! I’ve got so much heart stuff — this was only a fraction of it 😉 I love LUSH’s products. I go to the stores on occasion, but the sales staff is very attentive, if you know what I mean. Sometimes it’s more leisurely to order online! Their products, however, are quite amazing. They are natural and handmade. Because they are “fresh” and have no preservatives, they don’t last forever, but they are wonderful nonetheless. The lip scrub is fabulous and tastes great plus it’s super-cute. I hope you can find the plug for your gorgeous claw foot tub, because the bath bombs make for a fun and luxurious soak! And you can break off pieces of the bath so you don’t have to use it all at once. Now I hope kitty hasn’t hidden that plug too well. Promise her some tuna if she finds it 😉
What a cute teapot! I love your heart collection.
Thanks, Sheila. As you can see, I’m obsessed with hearts
