How do I love thee, Beauty Junkees? Let me count the ways. Beauty Junkees is my go-to for beauty tools because IMHO there is no way to beat them for quality and affordability. I’ve shared my love for their amazing makeup brushes, blending sponges and most recently, their glass nail file and buffer.
If my memory serves me, I recently introduced you to their foray into makeup with their fabulous Contour and Highlighting Palette. I guess they’re not stopping there because I have some eye and brow products to share with you today.
I recently received a large Magnetic Makeup Palette from Beauty Junkees.
I have been lusting after a magnetic palette for a couple of years now, so I was thrilled to get this one. I don’t have a lot of shadow singles yet, but now I have no excuse for not picking up a few from Make Up Geek. Nevertheless, I did have a couple of shadows singles on hand that now have a good home. Because the pans I had were not magnetic, I attached the cool magnets to the back of the shadows and now they are firmly held in place. The set comes with 10 different sized magnets. The Magnetic Palette also comes with a large mirror and a very handy double-ended eyeshadow brush.
If you’ve been wanting a magnetic palette, go for this one. $19.97.
Beauty Junkees Concealer & Highlighter Duo Pencils are very handy.
The double ended sticks come in Warm and Cool.
One side is matte and the other is a subtle shimmer shade. The matte end is great for defining the brow, while the highlighter can be use just about the brow to add subtle highlights (especially if you don’t have bangs like me). Although the concealer in the cool stick is perfect for me, I like using the gold highlighter in the Warm stick as an eyeshadow pencil that gives me just a little color and that helps hide the redness on my lids. The highlighter on the Cool stick is good for the inner corner of my eyes because it’s subtle. The concealer end of each pencil is super creamy and easy to use anywhere on your face that needs concealing. It’s also great on the waterline to add brightness to your eyes. The highlighter end is a little stiffer but still very spreadable. Each Concealer & Highlighter Duo Pencil is parabens-free, gluten-free and not tested on animals. $14.97.
Next up is Beauty Junkees’ new Tinted Brow Gel. It comes in three shades: Blonde, Auburn and Dark Brown.
I received Blonde and Auburn.
I think Auburn might be a tad too dark for me coz my brows are more of a copper shade, but it’s not as far off as I thought. Applied with a mascara-type wand, the brow gel is easy to apply and long lasting. Parabens, gluten and cruelty-free. $12.97.
Beauty Junkees is sold on Amazon. As I mentioned in my review of the Beauty Junkees Glass Nail File & Buffer, Beauty Junkees has generously given me a 15% off discount code for my readers good on Amazon until February 15, 2017, code: NEVERS15, that makes already affordable makeup and tools an even better deal!
I’m wearing the Auburn Tinted Brow Gel and both the Warm and Cool Concealer & Highlighting Pencils in this photo along with a new lipstick from Zuzu Luxe that I’ll tell you about another time. I don’t know why my brows didn’t photograph completely – they look like I missed the beginnings, but I swear I didn’t, lol!
