Today, I’m bringing back the Friday Find, a brief post about a product I think you need to know about.
As I’ve mentioned before, my eyelashes and brows became sparser over the years, and I realized I needed to do something about it. I’ve tried castor oil, and I had good results from it though the castor oil itself is just that: an oil, a thick and goopy oil. So when I have had opportunities to try actual lash serums that were developed specifically to enhance eyelashes and brows, I decided that even though I have extremely dry and sensitive eyes, I needed to try them.
A couple of months ago, I wrote about the good results that I got from Wink, the first lash serum I tried. Check out my Wink review here.
Recently, I received another brand of lash serum to try, Art Naturals Lush Advanced Lash and Brow Enhancer. This lash enhancer was very different from either the castor oil or Wink, but I have had excellent results using it.
Let’s get into it. First, it comes in a small glass tube-bottle with an applicator with a tiny brush at the end. Oddly, the glass tube has no branding on it, and I think that’s a mistake. Who saves the box? I wanted to write my review, and I realized I couldn’t find the box. And I couldn’t remember the brand name. Fortunately, I took a couple of photos of the box when I first received it so I was able to retrieve the brand name. But in real life, if I wanted to repurchase it, I’d be out of luck. Art Naturals, put the name on the bottle!
Second, as I mentioned above, it was different from the other lash products I used previously. It is very thin and much more like water than oil. You apply it with a thin brush along the root of the lashes and on your brows.
My eyes have been giving me problems lately (they sting because they’re dry). The first couple of times I used it, my eyes stung. But since then, it’s fine. I’m pretty sure it was my finicky eyes because I’ve been using it for about three weeks, and it doesn’t bother my eyes at all. The packaging says that the product has been tested to make sure it is gentle to eyes.
Third, when I read the box when I first got it, it said that I would see results in two weeks. The box was right. ArtNaturals Lush Advanced Lash & Brow Enhancer definitely worked for me. My lashes are longer than they were when I started using this brand. I also have more lashes at the inner and outer corners where my lashes had been the sparsest. I’m impressed.
Here’s a photo. I’m wearing mascara because my lashes are blond and you wouldn’t be able to see them.
Fourth, because this is a water (more like an essence than a serum), it seems to be lasting quite well. I expect to get at least 2 months use out of it.
Art Naturals Lash & Brow Enhancer is made with natural ingredients including Swiss Apple Stem Cells. The bottle contains 0.1 fl. oz. and is priced at $30. Cruelty-free. Art Naturals makes a full line of skincare, hair care, bath and body products and oils. In fact, I’m testing out their retinol serum now. Check out the Art Naturals website for more info.
