I always wonder if skincare products work. In the long run, I truly believe they do. My experience is that great skincare products can help stave off the effects of time. But reversing the effects of time, now that’s a harder task.
But amazingly, something that I’ve been using over the past several months has really made a difference on the crepey skin above my lids. The loose skin above my lids is definitely tighter, firmer. Glory hallelujah!
So when something works, I want to stick with it. But as a beauty blogger, I often have to move on and test something else. I’m always hoping that I won’t lose the results I got with prior skincare products.
Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector
A few weeks ago, I received Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector. Le Mieux is a brand that’s new to me. I’ve learned that Le Mieux Cosmetics is an international company with a line of professional skincare products that was started in 2004 by a team of physicians, biologists and chemists. They are committed to offering education for professionals in the skincare biz, and I spent some time looking at their professional website too. The scientists at Le Mieux Cosmetics focus on unique and effective delivery systems, state of the art ingredients (they claim to be the first to use Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) in their skincare products), and time-released technology. Le Mieux is big on incorporating hyaluronic acid (one of my must-have ingredients) into their products and leaving out parabens, sulfates and petroleum by-products. Importantly, Le Mieux is cruelty-free.
Now, let’s talk about the product I tried out. First, the packaging makes a great impression. It comes in an attractive white box with silver accents that looks both high-end and also clinical, in a good way. The bottle has a clear, heavy plastic outer bottle that allows me to see the white cream in a slim cylinder inside. I love the airless pump bottle that is easy to use and helps maintain the Eye Wrinkle Corrector’s efficacy.
Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector was formulated to provide intense moisture to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, bags, and dark circles. It is recommended for dry, mature, normal, combination, and sensitive skin – so it can be used by a wide variety of skin types. It contains 7 peptides, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants.
My eye skin issues are crow’s feet, fine lines under my eyes, and especially loose skin above the eye lids. Many eye creams are developed for use under the eye primarily to minimize dark circles and wrinkles. I was delighted when I watched the product video and saw the aesthetician in the video applying Eye Wrinkle Corrector all around the client’s eye including the skin above the lid. Yes! I tap Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector all around my eye: above, at the corner, and underneath. It absorbs very quickly. I experience no irritation to my sensitive skin or to my very sensitive eyes. Yay, again!
The product itself is lightweight, and to me, it seems more like a gel-cream than a straight cream. I prefer gel-creams because they don’t feel greasy and they don’t migrate into my eyes. Eye Wrinkle Corrector fits the bill.
Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector has maintained the above-the-lid firmness that I’ve been experiencing so I am thrilled. It softens the look of my crow’s feet and the very fine lines under my eyes are much less obvious. I don’t have very dark circles so I can’t comment on that.
I’m impressed with this eye gel-cream from Le Mieux. I’d say it’s one of le mieux! And it’s more affordable than the holy grail eye gel I was using previously. Le Mieux Eye Wrinkle Corrector contains 0.5 oz/15 ml, and it’s priced at $45, significantly less than the $84 eye gel I was using. So glad to find something that works and is more affordable!
Le Mieux is based in Pasadena CA, and the products are made in the US. Skincare professionals can purchase directly from Le Mieux. Just plain folks like me can call Le Mieux at (626) 962-1234 and they will locate an authorized distributor or retailer in my or your area. Just for the heck of it, I searched online for retailers, and there were a number of online sites, e.g Art of Skincare, Skin Etc.
Have you heard of Le Mieux Cosmetics? Does Eye Wrinkle Corrector sound like an eye gel-cream that would suit you?
