When it comes to body products, coconut is one of my two favorite scents. So I jumped at the chance to try out the coconut body butter from nspa by Nirvana Spa, the number one day spa in the UK. Since Nirvana Spa is known as a “pure water spa” with a Dead Sea mineral pool and all kinds of hydrotherapy treatments, they certainly know how to care for skin in and after being in water. Lucky us in the US. Even if we’ve never been to the luxurious Nirvana Spa in England, we can try their lovely but affordable line of bath and body products.
When I took the package of nspa Coconut Body Butter out of the shipping box, I could already smell the coconut. Wow, it smells incredible!
After I opened it, I noticed that the scent smells like real, rather than fake, coconut. I had to laugh when I noticed the “warning” on the label: “Warning: Our products are so fruity and juicy you might be tempted to eat them. Well don’t, they are not food.” It does smell that good!
nspa Coconut Body Butter is a thick white body butter. It is very smooth. A little goes a long way, but it isn’t sticky in the least. It is highly moisturizing, and the hydration lasts on my super-dry skin for the entire day. It contains vitamins including vitamin E and natural essential oils, though they tend to be listed toward the end of the ingredient list.
The nspa Body Butter has a lush coconut scent in the tub and as I apply it, the scent stays on the skin for a while. So if you want to skip wearing a different scent you can. However, the scent isn’t so strong on my skin that it interferes with me wearing a different fragrance.
nspa Body Butter is paraben-free, against animal-testing, and it’s made in the UK. The most amazing thing is the price. It costs less than $5 at Walmart! That’s a steal for this body butter! It also comes in other scents: mango, raspberry and vanilla. The product line also includes body mist, shower & bath gel, and shower scrub all at the same price point as the body butter, so you can affordably layer the products to keep the scent going.
I’m really enjoying this rich body butter that keeps my dry skin hydrated, comfortable and lightly scented. Have you seen nspa by Nirvana Spa products at Walmart? Tried it yet?
