I know, Valentine’s Day is over, but I wanted to make sure you know about Janel, the gorgeous shade of red that Zoya launched as part of the Fall 2015 Collection. If you only buy one shade of red, I think Zoya Janel is it! Perfect for work or for going out at night. Sophisticated, sexy, adult.
Janel is an opaque red cream with a warm undertone, but it suits my cool-toned skin nonetheless. It covered well in one coat, but I applied two for good measure. (As usual, pardon my shaky hand mani.)
If you are a red polish lover, I strongly recommend Zoya Janel to you. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Zoya polish is 5-free, cruelty-free, and it’s sold at Ulta as well as on the Zoya website. Price $10.
For Valentine’s Day, I did an accent nail with the slightly disappointing Color Club 50 Shades of Love Heart Topper LUV02, a clear topper with white and red hearts (reviewed here). Unfortunately, the hearts are not well distributed throughout the polish, so you have to fish around to find and place them. But it’s cute anyway.
Love this color! Do you have a favorite Zoya shade?
