I noticed one of the beauty bloggers I follow mentioned a great gift for points at Sephora: Bite Beauty Limited Edition Mimosa Red Lipstick and Gloss Minis, 250 points.
I have been stockpiling points for a while so I decided to take advantage of this gift because I am a big fan of Bite Beauty lippies. What I like best about Bite Beauty is that the lip products are made with food-grade ingredients. So if I’m going to end up ingesting at least part of my lipstick, I’d like it to be safe to consume! Also, something I just found out is that the lipsticks are hand-crafted! Wow.
I called my local Sephora to see if they had the Bite Beauty lippie gift in stock, and the girl I got on the phone said they had plenty. Because of my religious holiday this week, I wasn’t able to get there till the next day. Surprise! They were out of stock. Fortunately, the Sephora in JC Penney had some! What I also learned that it’s not necessary to buy anything to redeem gift points. Yay, because I didn’t really need anything today. (Such restraint!) 😆
Inside the Bite Beauty red box, I found a cute little red Bite Beauty lipstick mirror and a mini lipstick and mini lipgloss. The Mimosa red shades are gorgeous!
The red Luminous Creme Lipsticks in the Bite Beauty line have a sharp angled tip so it’s easy to get a crisp line.
Here’s one swipe of limited edition Mimosa Luminous Creme Lipstick on it’s own:
and with the matching Lush Fruit Lipgloss over it:
The lipgloss is almost opaque on its own. It goes on with a fruity scent that goes away immediately. It’s not very sticky, and it stays put.
Oooh, what a cute little treat! If you’re a red lippie lover and have Sephora points that you’d like to use, act fast ‘coz these won’t be around for much longer!
The full-size Bite Beauty Mimosa lipstick is $24 and the lipgloss is $22 (though I didn’t see lipgloss in the Mimosa shade on the Sephora website).
