I’ve written nostalgically in the past about both the Georgette Klinger salons and their line of fabulous skincare products. Whenever I posted about Georgette Klinger, I got comments from women who found my posts when they were searching for info about the Georgette Klinger salons and skincare products. Like me, they never found as good a facial as at Georgette Klinger, and like me, they held on to Georgette Klinger skincare products that are now more than 10 years old as trophies or reminders of the good old days.
I couldn’t be happier now that Georgette Klinger skincare products are back! I wondered if they would be the same products I used to buy, and they are not. But the products have been modernized for today! They’re natural and they are made with wonderful plant-based ingredients. I’ve fallen in love all over again.
Over the past month or so, I’ve been trying out some skincare products from the new Georgette Klinger line. They’ve sort of kept the colors of old line in the packaging – white and peach. The packaging has been updated, but they still provide a tie to the past.
Georgette Klinger skincare products are cruelty-free, paraben-free, dye-free, and many are fragrance-free.
Let me tell you about the three products that I received.
GK 3x Makeup Remover
The GK 3x Makeup Remover is different from all the makeup removers I’ve ever used. It’s a milky, thickish liquid made from cleansing oil that feels very gentle and hydrating. It does a good job removing my eye makeup and an excellent job removing foundation. I apply it to a cotton pad, and it sort of coats the makeup, dissolves it and takes it off leaving my skin feeling much more hydrated than liquid removers.
Because I’ve been using micellar water for a long time now, I must admit I’m still a micellar water fan because it works so darn fast: one cotton pad and I’m done. But I think this is a lovely, even more hydrating alternative. 4.2 oz./125 ml $18
Ingredients: Deionized Water, Squalane, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Propylene Glycol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Stearic Acid, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Triethanolamine, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol
GK Lavender Facial Mist
Remember how I always said that I hate spraying myself in the face with mists? Well, with GK Lavender Facial Mist I can actually do it! This pump bottle provides such a microfine mist that I hardly mind it at all. And the subtle lavender scent makes me and my skin feel calm and hydrated. I love this facial mist! Even if you’re not a big lavender fan, I think you’d enjoy this mist because the scent whispers, not shouts. (I hear GK has a Coconut Facial Mist, too! That’s next on my to try list.)
In addition to lavender, GK Lavender Facial Mist contains ginseng (one of my favorite skincare ingredients) and aloe vera extracts. It has witch hazel in it, an ingredient that I love for toning my skin. It’s hydrating and calming and reviving all in one. Plus it’s great to either set your makeup or perk it up during a long day with a mist of moisture. I haven’t had a chance to try it yet this way coz I haven’t been traveling much lately, but I think it would be great to use before, after or during a long flight. From time to time, I enhance my calming nighttime routine by spraying a little on my pillowcase. Heavenly! 4.2 oz./125 ml. At $9, this mist is a true bargain!
Ingredients: Deionized Water, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Propanediol, Propylene Glycol, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Panax (Ginseng) Extract, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Hexylene Glycol, Decyl Glucoside, Lauryl Glucoside, Citric Acid
GK Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer
I have about a million facial moisturizers, but I keep grabbing for GK Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer over and over again. It is a relatively lightweight white cream that comes in a pump bottle. Think the perfect weight for warm weather, for using over facial oils, and for all skin types. It absorbs instantly. Even though it is lighter weight compared to other moisturizers that I own, I will still be happy using Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer when the colder weather hits because it feels so hydrating on my skin.
Georgette Klinger describes the formula with the following: “Advanced Collagen and Elastin blend penetrates to rebuilt, strengthen and increase elasticity, visibly restoring skins resiliency to deliver a firmer tone and texture. Olive oil replenishes lost lipids and rejuvenates skin while Squalene strengthens the barrier to minimize moisture loss and reduce damaging dehydration, improving tone and texture for a glowing complexion.” Yes, I agree! It does seem to do all that for my skin. 🙂
Although I usually like unscented facial skincare products, GK Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer has a light sweet scent that I adore. In fact, that scent is one of the reasons why I enjoy using it so much! The scent is familiar but I can’t quite place it. Does that ever happen to you, you know what something is but you can’t quite name it? At any rate, the scent fades on contact but for those few seconds, it’s wonderful to just inhale!
I just received a new regimen of skincare from another brand to try out for review. And truth be told, I’m actually ticked off that I have to put aside my GK Collagen & Elastin Moisturizer for a month while testing the new skincare products.
1.7 oz./50 ml $34

Right now, Georgette Klinger skincare products are sold on the Georgette Klinger website where there’s free shipping over $35 and 3 samples with every order. Hop over and take a look. Years ago, they were sold in the Georgette Klinger salons located in major cities throughout the U.S., but I don’t think there are plans at this point to bring the spas back, boo hoo. Nevertheless, one step at a time!
Sometimes when you try something you loved in the past, it isn’t as wonderful. Well, my first venture back into the world of Georgette Klinger is a success! They definitely studied modern day skincare before reintroducing their iconic brand. I can hardly wait to discover more of their skincare line!
