Oh, I’m finding all kinds of new skincare products to try out! I received a box of Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Pads via Brandbacker, the bloggers’ association, in exchange for an honest review.
The box contains 12 packets containing two very thin fabric eye treatment pads (like a sheet mask) that are saturated with lactobionic acid (10%) that hydrates while it stimulates cell renewal and supports the eye’s deep matrix to firm the eye area and minimize the look of fine lines and even crow’s feet. They also contain vitamins A, C and E that are great for revitalizing skin.
The pads are designed to be used for a short period, i.e. 10-30 minutes. I tried other eye pads that were meant to be worn overnight, and sometimes that wasn’t so convenient. I find the Exuviance Intensive Eye Treatment Pads to be easier to use because I don’t have to commit as much time to keeping them on plus they’re more comfortable since they’re much lighter weight .
Exuviance Intensive Eye Pads are applied directly to clean dry skin. They’re easy to apply, just smooth each one on, and they stay on with no problem. They also fit well. Although they look really funny on, they feel good – rather cooling – especially nice when my eyes are tired at the end of the day. (Could I look more hideous?)
Leave them on for 10-30 minutes, then remove and discard the pads. Do not rinse, but instead massage in any remaining solution and follow up with eye cream. Sometimes I will apply the eye pads, and then put on nail polish and relax for up to a half hour waiting for my nails to dry and my Exuviance Intensive Eye Pads to do their magic!
I have very sensitive eyes, but I have no trouble with these eye pads whatsoever. They’re dermatologist- and allergy-tested, and they’re fragrance-free. The pads can be used 2-3 times a week.
Because my crow’s feet are more pronounced now that I’m older, I’d love to find an intensive treatment that makes them less obvious. I can’t say at this point that I see any change in the skin around my eyes, but I’ve only used 3 of the 12 packets of eye pads so far. I definitely intend to use up the entire box!
