I’m sure most of you in the U.S. and perhaps in Canada and other parts of the world, may have heard that we’re having a heck of a winter. In fact, we’re expecting another storm tomorrow. It’s March for heaven’s sake. Give it up, ole’ man winter! Move along!
Midnight Velvet to the rescue! Yesterday, after braving the bitter cold of Indianapolis where I spent the week on a business trip, I returned home to find their zebra print shipping box on my front steps.
I was excited to open it up because I was eager to receive this delivery and to see it in person. I didn’t realize that Midnight Velvet had shoes as part of their private label.
And here they are, a breath of spring! I have never owned floral printed pumps, or peep toes, or shoes with bling-y jewels before, and I just love them.

When Jeff came in last night and saw my new shoes artfully arranged on the dining room floor, he said, “Wow, those are Allison shoes!”. Yes, they are 😉
I had to try them on right away and see how they look! Although they’d be great for a spring or summer wedding, Bar Mitzvah, christening, or other nice event, I think I’ll be wearing them most of the time with jeans. Don’t you love the small platform as well as the bows and bling?
So even though it may be 3 weeks till spring officially starts and longer still till all the snow melts in my yard, I declare it’s spring whenever I wear my new floral satin pumps from Midnight Velvet!
