Frankly, I adore new Cherry. It’s the color I’ve been waiting for! It’s a warm-ish red that’s just about opaque on me. It’s supposed to have a little gold shimmer, but it doesn’t really show up on me which is fine. It’s the red that I love! Here I am wearing it without makeup (it was too darn hot this week!)
A word of advice, however, if you have liplines like I do. Wear lipliner or something like MAC Prep n Prime Lips with Cherry because it does migrate into liplines. The first time I wore it, I was in a rush and skipped that step. Mistake.
So, taking the extra step is truly worth it for this fabulous, attention-getting red!
Raspberry is a lovely cool toned, shimmery pink-purple shade. On me, it’s more of an everyday shade because it’s somewhat translucent on my lips. With this shade, I haven’t found it necessary to make sure I’m wearing lip primer or lipliner. It’s a great summer happy shade!
