March 2026 Ipsy Extra Box

Hmm, looks like Ipsy may have ditched the BoxyCharm name from its subscription box of full-size products. I guess they found that the BoxyCharm name wasn’t adding anything. Makes sense to me. 

Anyway, I received my subscription box yesterday. Since I get my box every other month, I unfortunately forgot that I was getting a box in March. By the time I thought about it, time had moved on and I missed the first 3 days of the month when I could choose my products. Bummer.

This is what Ipsy chose for me.

• Cheekbone Beauty Face Primer, shade Moon Dew: Although I never use anything that’s “all-over glow”, I believe I can and will use this lightweight gel, champagne-tinted primer as a highlighter on my cheeks and tip of the nose on top of my foundation. In fact, it is not overly glowy at all, but instead gives a pale, moonlit night type of shimmer. Cheekbone Beauty is a Canadian, vegan brand. They replaced this liquid Moon Dew primer with Illuminating Primer Stick that is sold out at present. $29

• Cela Glacier Clay Mask: I love Cela skincare and bodycare products. It’s one of my favorite brands to receive in an Ipsy box. Too bad they sent me a clay mask knowing that I have dry, mature skin. I haven’t opened the tube so I will give it to someone who has combination or oily skin who will appreciate it. $38

• Soroci Vita-Tangerine Spotlight Eye Cream: New-to-me Korean family-owned brand, Soroci, is formulated with green tangerines that are supposed to visibly lighten dark circles and add radiance to dull skin. When I opened the tube to try it out, I was surprised to see that the lightweight eye cream is the color of the tube! Because this undereye brightening cream is supposed to work over time, I didn’t see any change in my dark circles after the first dab. I’ll give it a chance. I can always use another brightening eye cream. $36

• Korres Pure Greek Olive Body Cream, scent Honey Pear: Because I wasn’t crazy about the scent of the Korres Pure Greek Olive Body Cream in the herbal Olive scent that I bought about a year ago, I wasn’t thrilled to see this in my Ipsy box. But when I opened the tube and tried it, it has a lovely, natural-smelling pear fragrance. I like the Honey Pear scent far more than the olive. It will make a nice body cream for spring and summer. $32

• Artist Couture Supreme Nudes Palette: Although I primarily wear cream eyeshadow on my dry eyelids when I wear eyeshadow, I really do like the shades in this palette. While Artist Couture calls the shades “Nudes”, in person they look more like autumn shades that usually work well with my blue eyes and color-treated red hair ;-). The palette has a nice, large mirror. And the shadows are not formulated with talc, a good thing. They do contain dimethicone, a smoothing ingredient that I can wear, but I know some cannot. Fragrance-free, silicone-free, sulfate-free, talc-free, parabens-free, cruelty-free. This palette was launched in 2020, but it looks like the brand has gone out of business. I can’t remember his name, but a well-known MUA’s photo is on the homepage.

Thoughts So Far

While this isn’t my favorite box from Ipsy, it’s OK. I’ll use 4 out of the 5 products, and the Cela is a terrific brand, just the clay mask doesn’t work for my dry skin.

The box is a $180 value for $36. I remember when Ipsy used to give out box worth almost $300 with a number of products that cost more than $100. I guess those days are gone.
