If you wear glasses or sunglasses, here’s an easy way to keep your lenses clean and clear. Peeps! CarbonKlean Peeps is a small, inexpensive tool that contains a brush and two replaceable cleaning heads.
Use the finger grips on the silver-colored piece to lift up and out the “tweezers” with the two cleaning heads.
Place the cleaning heads on either side of the lens and move the piece across the lens to remove fingerprints, haze and any other dirt. Then repeat the process on the other lens. Place the “tweezers” back in the holder.
The little knob on the right side of the tool lifts up the hidden brush to sweep away dirt removed by the tweezer heads.
It’s amazing to see how clean my glasses and sunglasses are after using Peeps. No spray or cloth is needed!
Although you can get about 500 swipes with the carbon cleaning heads, replacement pads are available.
I bought 3 of these during the holiday season in 2024: one for Jeff, one for me and an extra one. Back then, I think they were 3 for about $15 on Amazon. Recently, I saw them on Grommet, the retail site for cool gadgets and items, as well as on QVC, Walmart.com and Amazon. Not surprisingly, in the past year the price has increased to about $18-20 for one CarbonKlean Peeps. However, you can consider unbranded or competitive branded tools priced even more affordably.

I bought these a few years ago and they don’t clean my glasses. I haven’t come close to the max. I’m surprised how much the cost has gone up.
Really? I’m so surprised they didn’t work for you. They even work for greaseball Jeff! Heck, I wish you were nearby so I could try to clean your glasses with my Peeps to see what happens. Oh well. And yes, I was shocked when I saw how much this year’s price went up!
I should try this.
For me, it’s been a worthwhile little device! My glasses are always clean!
