FACE UP Dual Texture Peeling Pads
Exfoliation is a key part of my skincare routine. A while ago, I reached into my stash and came up with a jar of chemical and physical exfoliating pads from a new-to-me brand, D’Care.
Their FACE UP Peeling Pads consist of dual texture flower blossom-shaped pads with a smooth side for toning skin and an exfoliating side for removing dead skin cells and unclogging pores.
Not only are the pads a unique and cool shape, they are swimming in good-for skin-ingredients:
- 4 hydroxy acids: AHA, BHA, PHA, LHA (use sunscreen during the day with these hydroxy acids)
- 6 botanical extracts.
These pads provide exfoliation plus hydration, perfect for my dry mature skin. I discovered that I could easily peel off the exfoliation fabric if I wanted to still use the pads for toning and chemical exfoliation, since my older skin can’t really handle a physical exfoliator more than once or twice a week.
Key Features & Product Benefits
- Deep Exfoliation: Removes dead skin cells, blackheads, and whiteheads for a smoother, more even skin tone.
- Hydrating Formula: Infused with botanical extracts to nourish the skin while exfoliating.
- Dual-Sided Design: The textured side exfoliates, while the smooth side (often with a logo) tones and hydrates.
- Suitable for All Skin Types: On Normal, Combination and Oily skin, the pads are suitable for daily use. For those with Dry, Very Dry or Sensitive Skin, use once or twice a week or do what I do in-between: remove the exfoliating netting.
- Clean Formula and Cruelty-free: Free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and mineral oil.
- Prep: On clean, dry skin, use the textured side of the pad to gently wipe the face and neck.
- Treat: Flip the pad to the soft side and wipe again to tone and hydrate.
Retail Info
D’Care FACE UP Peeling Pads come in a jar with 60 pads. They had been sold on Amazon in the U.S., but they are presently out of stock.

Yet they are supposedly sold on Amazon in Saudi Arabia! You can read about the product on Skin Inc. here.
Frankly, if I had realized that D’Care FACE UP was no longer readily available, I wouldn’t have written about them. But I do like these pads and found them to be an interesting and quite unique product. Oh, well.

These sound really great actually. Stinks that I can’t get them! (Oh, and an update on the Il Makiage situation. I kept at them, and after literally months of frustrating email exchanges and navigating the world of obtuse chatbots, I managed to get a partial refund. You know, all they really had to do was send me a product to make up for their deception, but I’ll take the money.)
Geez, if Il M had just contacted you directly, it would have been so much better and easier all around. But I agree that money always helps!
