Black Friday Week has already started at least a week ago or more. Many of the discounts range from 20-40%. I believe that most retailers are concerned about the upcoming holiday shopping periods because so many shoppers are concerned about the economy and the security of their jobs. Although the Black Friday discounts are supposed to be for a limited period of time, I am guessing that sales might be extended or will return as we get closer to the holidays.
