Ooooh, I Love This b. glen QuSome Lotion

When we went to NYC a couple of weekends ago, I grabbed a b. glen Travel Set to take with me. Although the Clay Wash Cleanser wasn’t for my dry skin, the rest of the product minis were terrific. However, I fell in love with one of the products in particular.

QuSome Lotion

The b. glen Firming Care Starter Kit (one of 4 starter kits) comes with 5 mini products for $40. Well worth it.

The Firming Care Kit came with a 12 ml clear bottle of QuSome Lotion.

b. glen calls it a toner, but I consider it an essence because of all of its benefits and ingredients. It’s still used after cleansing, but rather than removing any left over cleanser or makeup, it deposits ingredients on the skin. You apply it with your hands rather than a cotton pad.

QuSome Lotion targets:

  • wrinkles
  • dark spots
  • pores.

I know that nothing is going to fade my dark spots, and fortunately, I have small pores. Wrinkles? Yup, I’ve got those. Whether QuSome Lotion can lessen my wrinkles remains to be seen, but QuSome Lotion is the essence that I’ve been searching for. Like TonyMoly Green Tea Watery Skin, an affordable Korean essence that I use everyday, QuSome Lotion feels like water. It’s very lightweight. But its key ingredients, especially Ectoine that hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier, leave skin feeling not just clean but hydrated and protected. Just what I love. Plus, it prepares skin for serum to sink in rather than just sit on top of the skin.

Benefits and Key Ingredients

Moisture-rich, high-performance Lotion provides up to 17 hours of hydration and skin barrier protection:

  • Targets signs of aging and boosts the skin’s structure
  • Enhances elasticity and effectiveness of lotions and creams applied afterwards

“QuSome Lotion now features NEW Ectoine, Amitose 3LGA, Fermented Rose Honey, VC Ethyl, and Allantoin to infuse the skin with damage-fighting antioxidants, assist in retexturizing, and protecting the skin barrier for the long haul.”

Earlier this week, the cleaning people came to help me clean my house. I try to take most of my jars and bottles off of my bathroom vanity, but I admit I do leave quite a few. For the first time in a year, one of my bottles disappeared: Paula’s Choice 7% Ectoin + Hyaluronic Acid Milky Hydrating Serum. I looked everywhere for it, but it must have fallen into the trash or somehow was spirited away. Boo. But I believe that the Ectoine in the QuSome Lotion leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, hydrated, and almost velvety like the Paula’s Choice Serum did.

Applying QuSome Lotion

As I mentioned above, you apply this essence with your hands rather than with a cotton pad. These drawings show you have to do it!

Retail Info

My little 12 ml bottle isn’t going to last forever, so I will have to decide between buying another bottle of Paula’s Choice 7% Ectoin + HA Serum or buying a full size bottle of b. glen QuSome Lotion. What to do?!

Because PC 7% Ectoin is new, it is excluded from Paula’s Choice current 25% off sale, it’s $44 for 0.67 fl. oz. or $23 for the travel size 0.33 fl. oz. b. glen seldom has sales. The lotion is $52 for 4.06 fl. oz./120 ml. sold on the b. glen website, though it is made in Japan. Two terrific products!

b. glen is an excellent luxury, science-oriented brand. For that reason and others, I may end up going with the QuSome Lotion. I know that the 4.06 fl. oz. bottle will last me a loooong time.

Made me buy it…. BTW, this is the first newsletter I have received from you in more than 1 week.

    1. Hi LuAnn, I hope you like the QuSome Lotion as much as I do!!! I found my bottle of Paula’s Choice 7% Ectoin + HA Serum, so when I finish up my travel size bottle of QuSome Lotion, I can justify buying the big one 😉

I just went to my MailerLite account page and checked my subscriber list, and you are definitely on the list. I wish I could post the screenshot here in Comments, but it doesn’t let me. However, MailerLite says it has emailed you 265 emails since September 2024 when I had to move my list to MailerLite after good ole reliable MadMimi went out of business. It also says you opened 126 emails (thank you!!) and clicked on 110 (thank you again xoxo). I’m sure you already looked, but could they have ended up in your spam folder? The only thing I can suggest is that you unsubscribe and then resubscribe? I feel terrible about this
