Project Pan 2026 March Beauty Empties

Since I just recycled and threw away over 60 empty cosmetics that I was saving from 2025 for review during the months that I missed, I’m bound and determined not to get that far behind again this year. So here we go with March 2026 empties.

Bath & Body

• Spongelle Bulgarian Rose Body Buffer: The scent on this Spongelle buffer from the Wild Flower Collection was indeed divine, especially when I first took it out of the box to use it! I recycled the box that it came in, but I think this was a 14+ use sponge. It definitely lasted me longer than two weeks, but less time than their full size 42+ use sponges. The only thing I didn’t love about this one was the fact that it didn’t have a ribbon to hang it to dry after use. Recommend? Yes, if you love rose scents. And it looks like they now sell it with a ribbon, yay.
• Korres Ginger Lime Body Wash: As much as I like the subtle scent of this gel body wash from Korres, I have been finding that it doesn’t lather all that well and the suds dissipate very quickly. Recommend? I guess I have changed my mind over time on this product, and I will say no, I don’t really recommend it. I think I have one more bottle of it in my stash.
• Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream: I am a fan of Eucerin Advanced Repair Body Cream so I wasn’t surprised that I liked this relatively rich, healing hand cream. Recommend? Yes. It comes in fragrance-free as well as scented.
• Hey Honey Walk the Walk Propolis Foot & Heel Repair Cream: I bought this honey and propolis (nutrient produced by bees) foot cream for dry feet a while ago, the second tub of it from this brand. It’s a good foot cream, rich with a nice but subtle scent. Recommend? Yes.
• Face & Body Soap from The Thayer Hotel at West Point: In June, at the last minute after visiting NYC, Jeff and I drove up the Hudson River Valley to Storm King Sculpture Garden. I got us a reservation at The Thayer Hotel at West Point for one night. What a beautiful place overlooking the Hudson! We had a large Executive Junior Suite instead of the closet I was thinking we would get with our late reservation. The hotel had lovely amenities, and this full size soap was one of them. It was moisturizing and had a subtle clean scent. I wish I knew who the manufacturer was. I strongly recommend staying at The Thayer if you’re in the area. They have very nice restaurants on the premises, too.

Skincare

• Korres 360° Eye Lift Super Serum: Still my favorite eye serum that I use to firm the skin above my crease. It’s the best! Recommend? Yes, this must be the 15th tube I’ve used and I have two more waiting in the wings.
• Thrive Cosmetics Eye Lift 360° Waterproof Eyeshadow Primer: If this eyeshadow primer didn’t come with a doe-foot applicator, I would have liked it. I prefer eyeshadow primer that I apply with my finger. Recommend? While the primer itself worked well, I found that it was difficult to control how much came out of the tube on the applicator. As a result, I would recommend other primers instead.
• First Aid Beauty Bounce-Boosting Serum, travel size: Recently, I discovered this excellent lightweight, fragrance-free facial serum in my stash. It left my skin feel smooth and plumped. Recommend? Unfortunately, First Aid Beauty recently revamped their packaging and product line, and they must have discontinued this excellent serum. Boo.
• Coola Mineral Sun Silk Creme Sunscreen SPF 30, travel size: I’ve had this travel size sunscreen from Coola in my travel bag for a while, as you can tell. 70% organic and oil-free, this sunscreen worked well and wasn’t overly heavy in spite of zinc oxide being the active ingredient. If you rub it in, the white cast goes away. However, this particular sunscreen has been discontinued by Coola.

Haircare and Fragrance

• KeraFactor Scalp Stimulating Solution: KeraFactor Scalp Stimulating Solution is a drug-free, dermatologist-developed topical treatment designed to nourish the scalp and support visibly thicker, fuller, and stronger hair using a proprietary KeraFactor Peptide Complex (KFP™) containing 7 biomimetic growth factors and peptides. Supposedly, it can be used in conjunction with red light therapy to amplify its effect, but sadly, I didn’t know that till I finished the bottle. I think this product works similarly to the DefenAge 150K Hair Follicle Serum that I wrote about here, although its scalp nourishing exclusive ingredient is different. Recommend? Yes, I do, though it too is a pricey option at $169 for 50 ml. However, it lasts for a long time.
• DefenAge 150K Follicle Serum: This was my last DefenAge hair serum in the former packaging. I noticed that it was much smaller at 0.33 fl. oz. than the new packaging at 1.0 fl. oz. I wish I could remember if there was a price difference! Recommend? Yes, I recommend the juice inside regardless of the delivery system.
• Pura Aromatique Valencia Orange Home Fragrance Diffuser Oil: I loved this orange-scented diffuser oil. Recommend? Yes, I do if you’re a citrus scent fan.

Health & Beauty

• Bon Patch Sleep Patches, 30 day and 6 day sizes: Yes, I still use these Bon Patch Sleep patches every night. They help me sleep through the night. I just wish they had some color on them to remind me to take the patch off in the morning! Recommend? Yes!
• Just CBD 100mg Gummies: My other favorite for sleep and/or pain. Recommend? Yes, if you’re a fan of CBD.

Project Pan Summary

I ended my January and February 2026 combined post at 19 empties. In March, I used up 14 more. 33 empties isn’t terrible. At least 67 more to go this year.

While I finished my usual staple products like Just CBD, Bon Patch, Korres Eye Lifting Serum, and DefenAge Hair Follicle Serum, I did use up several other new-ish products so that you have something different to read about!
