This is my shortest empties post, probably ever. The September empties post, that I still haven’t published yet, is a big one. In response to a big month, I guess that I didn’t have that many things that were near empty. Plus we went away in October, so I didn’t use up very much. I had a couple of empty travel size containers, but I didn’t think they were worth adding individually.
Here are my four empty products! Three of the four are staples in my regimen.
October 2024 Empties
Skincare Empties
- Bigger Than Beauty Defying Gravity Eye Cream: As I’ve mentioned before, Bigger Than Beauty is a sister skincare brand to Thrive Causemetics makeup products. I’ve gone through a lot of tubes of this eye cream. It’s one of my all-time favorites. The tube is such a perfect package for eye cream. Not only is air kept out of the tube, but the cream inside doesn’t touch my finger till it is squeezed out. Recommend? Oh, yes! I believe that Thrive Causemetics has free shipping now.
- Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine Cream: This lightweight but very hydrating gel-cream was in one of my Boxycharm/Ipsy boxes at the beginning of the summer. It turned out to be the perfect summer weight moisturizer even for me with my ultra dry skin. Recommend? Yes, I recommend it for all skin types. In fact, I had the opportunity to buy another jar from Ipsy as an add-on this month, and I very happily did.
- City Beauty City Lips Clear: My empty tube must be about my 100th empty City Lips Clear that I’ve used up over the past at least 12 years! Still my absolute favorite dry skin lipgloss. Recommend? Absolutely!
Health and Beauty Empties
- JustCBD Gummy Bears 1000mg CBD: I love these delicious little CBD gummies. They help me relax enough to go to sleep along with a half of a Benadryl. Recommend? If you’re a fan of CBD gummies, these are worth a try.
Project Pan Quasi-Update
That’s it: I used up 4 full size products during October. Yikes.
At the end of August, I was at 71 empties. So now I will have 75 reported on empties for 2024. However, I never posted my May empties and I still haven’t posted September. I have hope that I will make 100 yet!

I was wondering where your empty post was. I actually finished up several items in October: 2 different eyebrow serums, 2 travel size e/s primers, Bioderma Micellar Water, a Sephora lip liner, 2 pencil eyeliners. I’m sure there’s more I can’t remember. Also I’ve been tossing things right and left so I can get rid of older skincare items.
Wow, that’s great, Marcia! Sounds like you are making headway in cleaning things out! Which eyeshadow primers did you use up? I have one that I love that’s almost finished, LCB, that I will probably replace soon. I also have one from Thrive, but it has a wand and I love the eye primers that come in a regular tube.
