Since I received 37 bottles of new Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer, I have no excuse not to have something on my nails.
And it has given me a chance to play around with different looks.
Recently, I decided to try out Mint Crush. Although it’s called “mint”, this shade is more of a robin’s egg or Tiffany blue. So I created a Tiffany-inspired mani! Tiffany blue and gold, for gold jewelry.
One coat of Mint Crush on top of Revlon Colorstay Basecoat. Then I took off as much topcoat as I could off the brush, applied it to the top half of the nail trying not to cover the entire nail. Then I used a fan brush dipped in gold glitter applied it to top half and dipped the very tip of the nail in the glitter.
While I was applying the nail polish, I had my contact lenses in, and I just can’t see as well especially for closeup stuff. I should have taken them out, but I was too lazy. As a result, this is not the world’s neatest mani. Apologies. But you get the idea I was going for.
The new Milani Color Statement Nail Lacquer formula really is amazing. Today is day 5 of this mani, and no chips, no wear. Yes!
