If you spend a lot of time looking at a screen, i.e. a computer, phone, TV, gaming console etc., then you need protection from blue light emissions. Not just glasses with lenses that protect your eyes from blue light, though that’s certainly important. But we all need something to protect our skin from blue light. Blue light can cause photo-aging, stress and also dryness and dehydration.
As usual, I went shopping in my stash a while ago, and I found a bottle of Volition Screen Time Hydra-Mist with Green Tea and Rosehip Oil. It turns out to be an easy way to protect and revive facial skin.
Volition Screen Time Hydra-Mist is a spray that feels cooling, calming, relaxing, and refreshing on my face. I’m such a fan of green tea, an antioxidant-rich powerhouse that fights visible signs of aging and helps protect against more damage. If your skin is oily, green tea helps reduce oiliness. If your skin is sensitive, green tea calms irritation and sensitivity.
My summer dry skin responds so well to this spray that hydrates and nourishes with natural oils and Indian Ginseng Flower Extract.
Hydra-Mist also contains safflower oil, (one of my favorite oils for cooking!). Safflower oil contains an antioxidant-rich pigment, Acacetin, that along with Rosehip Oil, helps protect skin from blue light while minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
To apply Volition Screen Time Hydra-Mist, shake well and hold the bottle about a foot away from your face. Close your eyes and spray. Or if you’re weird like I am and don’t like spraying yourself in the face, shake and then spray on your clean hands and pat onto skin. I had originally expected this spray to feel like water, but the oils in the spray make it feel “softer” though it quickly dries and becomes unnoticeable. You can spray away as the day goes on especially if you’re tied to your computer or phone.
