As you may know, I am a bath and body products fanatic. And lately, I have been trying to use natural and cruelty-free products as often as I can. I recently was introduced to A Girl’s Gotta Spa, a line of bath and body products created by beauty blogger, Shannon Smyth whose blog shares the same name as her bath line. Smart cookie!
Shannon created her bath and body product line in the belief that everyone deserves to be pampered and that one’s well-being is important. I couldn’t agree more! A Girl’s Gotta Spa products give the user peace of mind because in addition to being natural and cruelty-free, they are also free from sulfates, formaldehyde, petrochemicals, synthetic colors and fragrances.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been using A Girl’s Gotta Spa Energizing Citrus Body Wash. It’s a fabulous gentle cleanser. It is formulated from pure essential oils of pink grapefruit, orange, lemon, and lime. Just thinking about it is energizing! I use it most often on a poof, and it makes just the right amount of lather. It has a mild natural citrus scent. Sometimes I just like to open the bottle and smell it! It doesn’t strip my skin at all, but leaves me feeling clean and fresh.
It comes in a slim plastic bottle. A little goes a long way, so I’ve hardly made a dent in the 8 oz. bottle, yay! It’s regularly priced at $26, but I just noticed that it’s 20% off on the A Girl’s Gotta Spa website ($20.80).

This sounds delectable! I have been wanting to try this for a while, but your description REALLY makes me want it! I really love citrus scented body products a great deal– they are so refreshing and delicious when done well!

I loved this! The scent is one of my favorites so I was excited to be able to use to use this. I actually decanted a little and added some apricot scrub to being it to the gym with me.

I always say I never finish things up but I did finish my A Girl’s Gotta Spa Body Lotion. It’s got such a refreshing smell.

The lotion is TDF. It smells soooo good and it really softens and hydrates.

Citrus scented body washes are my favourite – they really invigorate in the mornings. Great to hear this is harm- and cruelty-free.
Citrus is one of my favorite body wash scents too. In fact, I love it especially for morning showers, so energizing!
