In July or August, I was sent asthetik Renewal Night Moisturizer to review. After trying it on a summer night, I decided that the moisturizer was too heavy for the summer heat. I told that to the PR person who sent it, and I am sure she was disappointed that I couldn’t review it.

In all honesty, I am always happy to see preservatives in my skincare products. My Experience Using asthetik Renewal Night Moisturizer
This is one thick, rich, nourishing moisturizer! Using it on a hot, humid 80• night in August just didn’t make sense to me. Using it now, when the daytime temperature is in the 30s and the nighttime temperature is in the teens and 20s, is heavenly.
I apply about a quarter’s worth of moisturizer to my face, and after a couple of minutes, it sinks into my dry skin and leaves a satin, almost a matte, finish. It’s absolutely not greasy. Although the folks at asthetik Skincare describe the skin sensation as “dewy”, I have to disagree, at least on my face. Prior to using asthetik at night, I was trying to hydrate my skin with an overnight mask. As much as I like that mask, wearing it overnight made a mess – my poor pillowcase! Once I remembered that I was “saving” asthetik Renewal Night Moisturizer for the weather that finally arrived with Thanksgiving, my pillowcase stays clean. And my skin feels soft and hydrated.
Although the product does not have added synthetic fragrance, it is jam-packed with natural oils and actives, and as a result, it does have a light, non-lingering scent.
