Recently, I’ve been trying out a brand of natural, vegan and cruelty-free haircare products from our neighbor to the north, Canada! Today, I will start with the shampoo and conditioner, ATTITUDE Super Leaves Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. To be honest, I’m always a little nervous about trying new haircare products since I am so devoted to products for my red color-treated hair, like IGK More Life Shampoo & Conditioner. But I’ve gotten up the courage, and so far, I like what I am experiencing with ATTITUDE.
ATTITUDE Super Leaves Nourishing Shampoo
Super Leaves Nourishing Shampoo is 97.6% of natural origin. In fact, Nourishing Shampoo and its ingredients are verified by EWG, Environmental Working Group known for its strict standards. That means that the product avoids any concerning ingredients, and it is committed to ethical and safe business practices.
The key ingredients linked to the name “Super Leaves” are watercress and Indian cress, ingredients that are purifying and filled with vitamins and minerals. Grape seed oil and olive leaves extract are added to this variant in order to restore and strengthen dry and damaged hair as well as dry scalp. The scent of the shampoo is reminiscent of sweet grapes, IMO, but I saw online that the fragrance is pear, nectarine and ginger. It’s a very nice fragrance, but if you can’t tolerate scents then you would want to pass, since the fruity sweet smell is noticeable as you lather up.
The lather is easy to rinse out, and it leaves my hair feeling squeaky clean, a feeling that I actually like. Although I’m not sure that I can give up IGK More Life Shampoo for Color-Treated Hair, but using ATTITUDE Super Leaves Nourishing Shampoo at least once a month to get my hair really clean makes sense to me.

Super Leaves Nourishing Conditioner is 98.5% natural in original. As part of the Super Leaves collection, the Nourishing Conditioner contains purifying, vitamin and mineral-packed watercress and Indian cress. Like the Nourishing Shampoo, the Conditioner contains grape seed oil and olive leaves extract to hydrate and revitalize hair and scalp.
There’s no indication that you have to leave the fruit-scented conditioner on your hair for a certain amount of time. Nevertheless, I leave it on for a few minutes while I shave my legs in the shower. Rinse and comb.
