Goldfaden MD Wake Up Call Overnight Facial Treatment

Goldfaden MD Wake Up Call Overnight Regenerative Facial Treatment came in one of my recent Ipsy boxes. It has become a favorite especially for my skin this summer when lighter is better.

Ingredients and Benefits

The brand makes serious medically-oriented skincare products with effective ingredients and no added fragrance. I like the way the brand’s packaging lists a “problem” and the “solution” right up front. For instance, for Wake Up Call, the problem is: “Dry & Aging Skin”. Wake Up Call with CoQ10, retinol and avocado oil is the solution.

This gender-neutral, overnight creamy yellow facial moisturizer is a step-saver cream that I can really get behind!

It contains a multitude of hydrating ingredients including traditional emollients, hyaluronic acid, natural oils and extracts as well as anti-aging retinol that I would usually have to apply as a separate serum. As a result, one moisturizing cream does it all, something I really appreciate on a hectic summer evening.

Out of the tube, the cream feels fluffy, like a mousse. A small amount spreads easily over my face and neck, and it sinks into my skin quickly, leaving my face feeling instantly moisturizing. Plus my dry skin feels plumped and looks fuller.

Because I own so many moisturizers, anti-aging creams, and serums, I have come to appreciate products that include preservatives, especially natural ones. Goldfaden MD Wake Up Call Facial Treatment contains naturally derived, organic acid salt pair, Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate, to offer solid, broad-spectrum protection. It also includes Phenoxyethanol and Ethylhexylglycerin, synthetic but globally-accepted anti-fungal preservatives, that prevent the growth of bacteria.

Ingredients: WATER, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, STEARIC ACID, OCTYLDODECYL STEAROYL STEARATE, CETEARYL ALCOHOL, GLYCERYL STEARATE, SQUALANE, GLYCERIN, PERSEA GRATISSIMA (AVOCADO) OIL, GLYCINE SOJA (SOYBEAN) OIL, SODIUM HYALURONATE, ACETYL HEXAPEPTIDE-8, TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E), DIMETHYL MEA, THIOCTIC ACID, SACCHAROMYCES/COPPER FERMENT, CARNITINE, CAFFEINE, RUSCUS ACULEATUS ROOT EXTRACT, SODIUM BENZOATE, RETINYL PALMITATE, CITRUS PARADISI (GRAPEFRUIT ) PEEL OIL, VITIS VINIFERA (GRAPE) SEED OIL, UBIQUINONE (COENZYME Q-10), PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, ASPALATHUS LINEARIS (RED TEA) EXTRACT, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, GLYCERYL CAPRYLATE, CITRIC ACID, POTASSIUM SORBATE
