Retail Sample/Affiliate Links
Honestly, I can’t remember how I got this mini sample from Murad, but I’m glad I did. Murad makes my favorite retinal facial cream, and I’ve been using it since it launched a couple of years ago (although I have tried some other more affordable but less desirable retinal serums).
Officially, Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lifting Treatment launched two years ago, but I think they’re still trying to get the word out about it. I’ve been slow to pick up on it, if it has really been around for that long. It looks like they’re sending the sample along with Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Cream. Good idea.
The sample contains only 0.11 fl. oz., so this isn’t a review because I haven’t been using it for very long. It’s my first impressions. If you’ve tried Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Treatment, I hope you’ll weigh in by commenting!
Benefits
Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lifting Treatment sounds like it was formulated specifically for me. It helps:
- reduce the appearance of deep-set lines/wrinkles
- visibly lift and firm droopy, sagging lids and folds
- restore elasticity around the eye.
According to Murad, results can be seen after a week of use. In fact, the Murad website shows the one week results of several women. There are visible though subtle changes in the photos. Where you can really see a difference is in the 4 week photo.

Ingredients
Here’s what Murad has to say about their key ingredient retinal as well as other core ingredients in their formula:
- Our retinal—one of the most efficacious forms of vitamin A—is encapsulated in an exclusive delivery system for enhanced stability and targeted delivery deep within skin’s surface, allowing for 2.5x more effectiveness vs. free retinal—while still being gentle on delicate under-eyes and lids

- Supercharged with resculpting gentian root extract and oat sugar extract to amplify retinal’s benefits – especially on droopy eyelids and folds – for a lifted, firmer and tightened appearance

Retinal is one of the most effective treatments for mature skin showing advanced signs of aging.
My Experience So Far
Frankly, I haven’t been using Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Treatment for either long enough or consistently enough to assess its effectiveness on my mature eyes. But now that I understand that this eye treatment is recommended for the complete eye area, I will use my mini tube and see what happens. After using it the way and as long as I have, it doesn’t irritate my eyes.
Initially, I was surprised when I read on the Murad website that it is recommended for those with Balanced, Oily or Combination skin because that’s not me and it’s also not many mature women who tend to have dry skin. However, as I read on, it recommended layering with hyaluronic acid and/or ceramides. Even though Murad Retinal Eye is a white cream, I have noticed it isn’t hydrating enough for my dry eyes, so I will use it more like a serum with my regular eye moisturizer over it.
Nevertheless, I am grateful that I received this mini tube to try out. Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Treatment is expensive (i.e. 0.5 fl. oz. for $93), so before buying it I want to be certain that it is worth it for me and my eye issues.
Where to Buy and Maybe Try It First
Of course, Murad Retinal ReSculpt Eye Lifting Treatment can be purchased on the Murad website. In fact, if you purchase the Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Cream, you may also be fortunate to receive the sample mini tube that I got.
You can also find Retinal ReSculpt Eye at Ulta Beauty where I believe you can try their test product or ask for a sample to try at home.
The product is also sold at a more affordable price (about 40% off) at online retailers CosmoFactor.com (a company that works directly with brands and sells brand new products) and FragranceNet.com that sells genuine products.

I have liked other Murad products, so I might try this.
As long as you don’t have dry skin around your eyes, it’s a good product. Been thinking about you in CO with the wildfires. Hope everything is OK where you are. Sorry to hear about the fires though. Very sad, very difficult
