Today, I want to show you two adorable small sets from PUR Cosmetics that would make perfect stocking stuffers, small gifts or a little treat for yourself to help you get ready for the holidays.

Elevation Highlighter Palette and Fan Brush
Elevation is the prettiest little highlighter palette. Although the palette is small in size overall, the size of each highlighter is full size. The three shades are from the peach family, and they are gorgeous. Boost is a pale peach, Upgrade is a deeper peach, and Altitude is an amazingly beautiful white shimmer with a cool slightly peachy cast. Each of them feels like velvet; they have vitamin E in their formula. So smooth. Wonderfully pigmented. Plus a very usable travel size fan brush is included in the set for easy application and so you don’t look too shimmery.

Revolution Eyeshadow Palette & Fully Charged Mascara
Revolution is an eye set with a travel size palette with 5 full-size cool-toned eyeshadows plus a travel size PUR Fully Charged Mascara that I’ve written about in the past here. The shadows are 2 mattes and 3 satins. Flux is a pale pink sheer highlighter for under the brow bone or for the inner corners of the eyes. The other shadows can be used to create a smokey eye or for a neutral daytime look.
The shades are:
- Flux: sheer pale pink highlighter, satin
- Superior: raisin, deep mauve, matte
- Uproar: medium grey, satin
- Formation: medium bronzy brown, satin
- About Face: brick, matte
I did these swatches without primer on my arm, and I was impressed that the shadows on their own were decently pigmented. In actuality, I will wear them using primer to brighten them more and to extend their wear. Like the highlighters, they have a velvety feel, most likely due to the vitamin E in the formula. There was no fallout when I made the swatches. These shades are not flashy but they are very pretty, and I think they’re perfect for women of any age.

Do they have a warm toned one for that eyeshadow palette? Cool tones look weird on me and I never have luck with them. And why is it I always want highlighter palettes even though I am currently drowning in highlighters? I blame my inner magpie….
I don’t think so, Shireen. I believe they just have this cool toned palette. But the shadow palette and the gorgeous highlighter palette make such great small gifts for women who can wear those shades. The highlighters are just stunning so I can understand always wanting more no matte how many beauties you already have 🙂

The blushes are soooooo pretty, and the one in the center is exceptional! I’m glad you’re using the foundation powder. It’s a great formula especially if you don’t have super dry skin like me, and the compact is to die for!
I like the eyeshadow palette (not sure about the brick color) and the golden compact!

The brick shadow shade is perfect for me with my red hair and blue eyes. But I think you could pull it off too with your dark hair and eyes – not all over your eye but as a shade just in the middle of the lid or as a transition shade in or slightly above the crease.
