A couple of years ago, my hair colorist told me I had good natural eyebrows. She was about to apply dye to my brows, so she was looking at them. I was flabbergasted because she is more than 20 years younger than I am, and she has perfect eyebrows, meticulously, professionally groomed. Frankly, because I have had bangs for years, I seldom bother with my brows. Yet at this stage of the game, I probably should.
My brows have thinned over the years, so I decided to try a brow growth serum to see if it might make a difference. The areas I should have been focusing on are the tails (that I have still been neglecting) and the start of each brow.
I started using Scorobrow about a year ago because I had great results with Scorolash, and all of the Scorolash products do not contain prostaglandins that can sometimes have unwanted side effects. At any rate, I haven’t been using Scorobrow with the regularity that the brand recommends: use Scorobrow every night. Maybe I’ve been using it a couple of times a week. So I’m not surprised that I’m not seeing great results. In the recent photos below, I was showing the results of two different mascaras rather than my brows. But you can see them below my bangs, and I am not wearing brow pencil/powder. Not impressive. In fact, the tail of my left eyebrow is invisible.
I looked at my photo from probably about 10 years ago, I think: definitely younger, different shade of red hair, and probably I used a brow pencil? Regardless, my brows looked much fuller and the tail is clearly visible. Hmmm. Something like this should be my goal.
Anyway, I finished up my first tube of Scorobrow last month, and I decided to order another tube to give it another chance by using it more consistently. The brand claims that results should be seen after consistent use for 2-4 weeks. I am going away next week, so I will start my “consistent usage plan” when I get back.
Info About Scorobrow
First, Scorobrow is a cinch to use, so I have no excuse for not using it regularly. The gold tube comes with a doe-foot applicator, and it literally takes 2 minutes or even less to dab it on.
Here’s what the company says about their Scorobrow:
Our brow stimulating peptide complex supports the brow’s natural renewal cycle making your brows fuller, thicker, and healthier. The mineral dense formula helps replenish brows with essential proteins and vitamins that provide luster and shine.
Unique moisturizing agents provide superior hydration to brows by locking in moisture while improving flexibility and elasticity.
Scorobrow’s ingredients are natural and include:
Aqua, Hyaluronate, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, Pentylene Glycol, Panax Ginseng Extract, Swertia Japonica Extract, Panthenol, Pumpkin Seed Extract, Acorus Calamus Root Extract, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract, Oligopeptide-10, Tocopherol
Scorobrow is cruelty-free, vegan and paraben-free.
The company says that you should see growth up to 95% thicker brows and up to 90% more volume (i.e. larger brows, I think). That’s almost twice as thick and twice as large. So far, my results aren’t even close to those.
Nevertheless, I shop Scorolash when they have sales via their website, usually 30% off. They frequently (like now) have sales on Scorolash and Scorobrow bundles: both for $49. The regular price of a tube of Scorobrow is $34.
So, I’ll keep you posted on my progress after a month or so.
Have you tried a brow growth serum that you’ve had good results with? Do tell!

Sadly this hasn’t helped me with growth. I’ve been surprised over the years how my brows have changed.
I’ve tried numerous brands of brow serum and had high hopes for this but I finished my tube with no improvement.
On to the next….
Oh boo, that’s discouraging, but at least I won’t feel to bad. I will use up this new tube and see if there are any changes. Did you try Scorolash on your lashes? I really have had good luck with the lash growth serum at least.
Have you found that it has helped you now that you’re a little over a month out?
For me personally, the Scorolash serum was more effective, Jojo. However, I did buy a second tube of Scorobrow. I would say it’s doing a little something for the sparser parts of my brows, but so far, it’s not as successful as the lash serum.
