Skincare Bundle from BoxyCharm

I Bought This - Affiliate links

As I’ve said many time, I think one of the most important benefits of subscribing to Ipsy/BoxyCharm is being able to shop on the site.

I happened to be looking at the Ipsy shop page, and I happened to find a bottle of Murad Retinal Serum for $45.

The regular price on the Murad website, at Ulta or Sephora for Murad Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment is $105! I use this product almost every night, so for $45, I’m there. But for the heck of it, I kept scrolling and I found a skincare “bundle” also for $45 that included the Murad Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment. Why not get 4 skincare products for the price of one that’s already more than 50% off?

My box arrived on Saturday, and these are the full size products I received:

  • Murad Retinal ReSculpt Overnight Treatment, 1 fl. oz./30 ml: Retinal is an over-the-counter member of the vitamin A family. It is further along the “vitamin A pathway” than retinol. It is one “conversion” away from becoming retinoic acid, meaning it acts faster (as much as 11x faster) on the skin than retinol and boasts other benefits as well such as being antibacterial and less irritating to skin. I like retinal because it’s good for lifting sagging skin.
  • Terre de Mars Variance Eye Contour: I’m all about eye firming and contouring, so I was delighted to find this eye contour cream in the bundle. I am using this on the skin directly under my eyebrows.
  • Alo Wellness System Enzyme Facial Cleanser: This pumping liquid cleanser contains pineapple enzymes, aloe and avocado oil. It foams up on the skin and leaves my skin incredibly clean.
  • Korres Santorini Grape Volcanic SkinReset Mask with Clay, AHA and BHA: Korres is one of my favorite skincare brands, and I’ve been using their Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink for about two years (see my review here). So I was happy to see this mask in the skincare bundle I bought. Although I don’t usually use clay masks on my dry skin, I will give it a try and use it last frequently perhaps than other masks. This mask is for Pore Detox & Clarifying, not exactly something I seek out for my skin these days. But I figure I can follow it up with Korres Santorini Grape Velvet Skin Drink

So far, I have used three of the four skincare products, and maybe tonight I’ll try the mask since I spent the day digging in the garden and raking leaves. At any rate, I certainly got my money’s worth with this skincare bundle!

Wow! That was a heck of a bargain!!!!

    1. That’s one of the reasons I hang onto my every other month subscription! It was an amazing deal, and I am using all of the products. But the Murad Retinal alone is very worth it!
