Terez & Honor Caffeine 8% Gua Sha Eye Cream

Terez & Honor is a new-to-me Korean skincare brand that works with dermatologists to create their products based on scientific knowledge and to solve problems for their customers. In fact, I was sent three products that focus on the eyes:

• Caffeine 8% Gua Sha Eye Cream
• Caffeine Hyaluronic Acid Eye Gel Patches
• Eyelash and Brow Serum.

Today, I will focus on one of the three, Caffeine 8% Gua Sha Eye Cream. The benefits of this eye cream are to:

• reduce dark circles under eyes
• reduce under-eye puffiness
• improving under-eye bags by helping to lift them.

Although I certainly have eye skincare issues, puffiness and under-eye bags are not two of them. I do have dark circles that I can discuss.

Product Description

The caffeine eye cream comes in a long, slim tube with a cooling ceramic tip that functions almost like a gua sha as you apply the lightweight white cream to your under-eye area. You can use the tip to dot some of the eye cream to your eye, or you can move the ceramic tip back and forth in the under-eye area to spread the eye cream and help smooth out the area.

“Awaken tired eyes with a high-purity 8% caffeine complex that helps reduce dark circles, puffiness, and under-eye bags by improving microcirculation and firmness. Visible results typically appear after consistent use for about 2 months—patience brings beauty.”

The key ingredients that help make up the eye cream include:

• caffeine 8% to help reduce dark circle and under-eye puffiness
• SLIMEXIR to reduce eye bags
• pumpkin extract to hydrate and revitalize skin
• herbal complex for anti-aging and skin-calming.

When using the product, just a tiny amount does the trick. Terez & Honor recommends applying an amount about the size of a grain of rice. Otherwise, as I found out on my own, you can end up with white residue around your eyes 😉 I’m not joking about this, less is definitely more, and there’s a bit of a learning curve.

The cream itself is very lightweight, and it spreads thinly. It takes a few seconds to dry, but once it dries, it leaves a reflective finish that helps disguise dark circles.

“Fragrance” is shown in the middle of the long list of ingredients. Nevertheless, you use such a small amount of the eye cream that the scent is imperceptible.
