Spring has finally sprung in New England! My pear trees are in bloom as are the pink and purple azaleas. Hope the temperatures stay warm so the lilacs in my yard will begin to bloom next week.
In Boston, the lilacs are definitely blooming and the trees are leafed out.
On Thursday, a friend and I went to Tulipmania! at an estate with a garden maintained by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. It was a beautiful day, and though the gardens were really just beginning, it was lovely to stroll through the grounds. Our admission included picking 5 tulips a person, a little skimpy if you ask me 😉
