Although everybody these days seems to be shopping online, I do not want to see a world where Amazon is our only choice. I’m of the age where department stores where the key venues for shopping and also eating. At certain stores, I still enjoy shopping. I like to see and feel the merchandise. I like to be able to try things on. So, I don’t want all the department stores to go out of business.
That said, I do shop for beauty products occasionally at Macy’s. In fact, I usually buy the green tea collection that I love from TonyMoly at Macy’s. So when I noticed yesterday that Macy’s is having their abbreviated version of “Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty” called “10 Days of Glam“, I wanted to make sure that you knew about it too. I apologize that I am late to the party since today is Day 6 as I write this. Boo, me. I’m bummed because there were a few items I would have considered. Maybe you would have too?

Today, Thursday, my pick would be the trio of brushes from IT Cosmetics. Their brushes are so jam packed with ultra-soft bristles they’re a joy to use. In addition, the Kylie lip gloss is intriguing. I haven’t tried the gloss, but the eyeliner is terrific.
Among the remaining days, Kiehl’s Creme de Corps is a rich body lotion that I have purchased many times over the years. Getting it on Saturday for half price makes a lot of sense to me. Also on Saturday, one of my favorite mascaras, Bad Gal Bang from Benefit, is half price. Good one.
