On Tuesday, I received an early Vday gift in a pink/raspberry box from Paula’s Choice.

Since peptides are having more than a moment in the skincare category, I wasn’t too surprised to see two of Paula’s Choice’s new-ish, pink/raspberry packaged products that are a key part of the Pro-Collagen Peptide Collection:

Peptides and Pro-Collagen are two terrific ingredients that address hydration, firmness and wrinkles. They help skin get and stay healthy.

Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer

Award-winning Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer is one of my favorite moisturizers. It’s a pink medium-weight gel-cream that’s perfect for year round use. It instantly makes my skin feel plumper and just better. Presently, I am trying to use up one of winter moisturizers, but when I finish I will go back to Paula’s Choice Pro-Collagen Peptide Plumping Moisturizer. On sale now in full-size for $36.75 and travel size for $14.25.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Dimethicone, Squalane, Glycerin, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Pentylene Glycol, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Sodium Acrylates Copolymer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Gigartina Stellata Extract, Acetyl sh-Hexapeptide-5 Amide Acetate, Tridecapeptide-1, Oligopeptide-1, Sodium Phytate, Propanediol, Lecithin, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Cyanocobalamin, Phenoxyethanol

Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm

Though I still love my City Lips Plumping Lipgloss in Clear, during this frigid winter in New England, my lips are more chapped than they were in the past few winters. I’ve gone back to Pro-Collagen Peptide Gloss Balm to see if I can heal my lips.

It’s a thick glossy balm that feels instantly protective and actually makes my lips feel plumper. The gloss stays put, and it lasts for hours. I’ve been using it overnight lately, and it lasts almost through the entire night. It would probably last through the night if I didn’t sleep on my stomach!

Gloss Balm is a pale pink that looks clear to me. Although it’s typically priced at $24, it’s now on sale for $18.

Ingredients: Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Polybutene, Diisostearyl Malate, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Glyceryl Behenate, Synthetic Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Butyrospermum Parkii Butter, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, Tridecapeptide-1, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Extract, Portulaca Pilosa Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Prunus Domestica Seed Oil, Aqua/Water/Eau, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tribehenin, Sorbitan Isostearate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Lactic Acid, Tocopherol, Sucrose Cocoate, Vanillin, Red 7 Lake

For Valentine’s Day and maybe for Presidents’ Day Weekend, Paula’s Choice is having a 25% off sale on everything. If you’re shopping for yourself or for a friend or family member for Vday, now’s a good time to take advantage of the Paula’s Choice sale!

I need to try that gloss balm. Colorado winters are so dry that they suck the moisture out of you like a starving vampire.
